BioStudied almost all the maths, and all the physics available at the University, 2001-2004. Consequently I have a BSc majoring in maths & physics (with 7 maths subjects, not 4), and first class honours in applied maths. Started a PhD but realised 18 months in that was a big fat bad idea, so now I'm job-hunting, and with the prospect of failure on the horizon, considering again whether I'd rather be a teacher or science communicator.
Answer is, due to ease of actually accessing a uni with such qualifications, teaching.
So this year I'm doing a BTeach (maths & science) and also a Grad Cert in GIS - which is FUN!
